Are my files uploaded to ToolZool?
No. The tools run inside your browser tab. The file never travels over the network, which is also why they work on a slow connection and why we cannot see what you processed.
Is it free, and what is the catch?
The tools are free and unlimited on file count. There is no watermark, no forced sign-up and no artificial waiting. The site will carry advertising below the tool area once there is traffic worth selling, and you will be able to support the project directly if you want to.
Does it work offline?
After the first visit, yes, for tools you have already opened. The processing code is cached by your browser, so a flaky connection stops the page loading but not the tool running.
Why exact sizes rather than a quality slider?
Because a real constraint is usually a number someone else gave you: 50 KB for an exam portal, 2 MB for an email attachment. Working backwards from that number is one step instead of a guessing loop.
